I dont know about the availability of the seal kits, but those mastercylinders were still being fitted in 97 I have a 97 750ss and a 97 ST2 both have the same style master cylinder as yours.

does he mean "Soon changed" by the owners or by Ducati ?

Check on ebay I got a new clutch master cylinder inc. lever for a lot less than that. give the monstershop a call I dont have the link to hand but i will get it for you dont go away!!!!
