It is a shame that we won't have our own, but we just can't compete with the DUK event, so we're throwing our efforts into helping with this instead.

Hopefully the Track Attack will return, even if it is an informal gathering at a No Limits or similar event, as it has been in the past.

May have to see what Dave at Hottrax can offer us, now that DD is running at their race meetings

I did offer to take the financial weight and risk off the club and run a two day No Limits event, with first call for DSC and ALL other ducati clubs, could be exclusive if we got the numbers, book it through No Limits so no admin, all you need to do it turn up, book the band, bouncy castle, the hog roast, get a couple of dealers, fill the van/car/tank bag with your tent and booze and we could run exactly the same event as normal only better....but nobody has come back to me. Dates are out for 2011, not sure if two days are possible, but we do many Cadwell dates and it's up to you, you could take the whole day, a single group whatever, lots of options for us all, just needs a bit of imagination, but the fact is, we can run the day as normal No Limits day with all the associated benefits and all the benefits of Ducati/Italian only, DD group, non Ducati group, novice only group totally flexible, even a Monster only group (We used to run a full day exclusively for MOC back in the day, great days at Mallory). All possible, you just need to ask, but be quick

Hi John,

Who did you make the offer to would be the first question, as a member of the new MRT its the first i have heard of an offer being made, it might be an idea to get in touch with Ant, it might not be too late to get a date and some ideas together and see what the reaction would be, im sure there are plenty of DSC members and ducati owners who are not DSC members who would attend a ducati orentated track event.

Personaly i think its a great idea.

Paul
