By my calculations that gives the following Standings:
Ron J (45) Hugh S (38) Kev P (36) Alan P (24) Neal C (21) Paul B (19) James S (16) Scott W (16) Paul P (14) Craig Fisher (13) Mike T (13) Phil D (9) Mark E (7) Gary W (5) A Vespa (2)
Realistically, the difference is me not finishing with you getting a 2nd... And those might be the results you drop... So no-one really has an advantage right now. But it does feel good to be at the top, even if it it only lasts a month!
Gutted for you Phil, do you know what the engine problem is ? fixable ?
Craig
I think all faults found and rectified. But at present is in component parts as I have to weld a frame crack near the head stock. I'm out of the country as well for 3 weeks from Sat so need to get a wiggle on, so its ready to go at my local venue.
My PB @ Mallory is 1.05.34 but reckon that will drop by 1.5 secs with these tyres and another 1.5secs with the new mind set . So will be hoping for low 1.02's
My Brands DD PB went from 1.02.469secs to 58.673secs, so who knows may get into the 1.01's
I just cant get my head round the times that people are looking at. Anyone considering a 1.03 lap at Mallory must remeber that this will be approximately 1 second faster than the fastest lap there last year in Class B.
I know I am capable of 1.09s so I need to be able to do 1.05 or 1.06 regularly to take into account the new tyres. Last year that sort of pace would have seen me highly placed, this year I will be towards the back.

Optimistic when the lap record is just under 1m03s.
