Chris.P and myself just changed my gearing, not sure it will make much difference to my lap times though, first time i will see the new layout will be during first practice Saturday.

Lets just hope for dryness as no one has tried these awesome dry tyres in the wet yet.

I tried them on a TD at the end of Feb. on a wet Snetterton 300 circuit

1st session new tyre and very wet so toodled round.. 2nd session dryish line a bit quicker.. 3rd session fuelling probs so broke down 3 times in 5laps and then went home

Forecast is rain Thursday... Sunshine Friday... Raining Saturday and Sunday at the moment, so fingers crossed they get it wrong.

Was it?? I must be suffering from that ailment. I can't recall what they call it now.

As its new to us I don't think there is anything to aim for it will be what it is and peeps will hang onto each other and get pulled along or hopefully left behind. Its going to work those tyres.

Oulton Park is just short of 2.7 miles Sam West was on a 2:04 this Snett is very nadjerry and 3 miles so I'm going to have a rough guess at 2:38.

Over 2 1/2 mins a lap, wow! I think there is a genuine fear that I might have a snooze on the straights. I like tracks like Brands, short and sweet with the roller coaster 'Paddock Hill' to make sure you're awake

Not sure may be worth a loom at what the MRO minitwins or streetfighter c with TGB were doing as I think both have been there already.

Re gearing, skids has a great theory I reckon I will be adopting: fast medium slow tracks. This is a fast one so 43 I reckon as Anglesey should have been a 44 but thd wind meant I could get the extra bit so just overrevved

So that's 45 at mallory and brands, 44 Anglesey and 43 snett. Done

Ok, I'll stop when I get to 2:38

The thing to remember is the B record on the old 2mile circuit is under 1m24s. I don't see another mile (which doesn't seem as tight as some of the 1mile tracks we go to) adding more than another minute. I personally think you will need to be under 2m30s.
