I sanded by hand just enought to give a nice flat finish and get rid of any marks. The old paint is mostly still there.

Collected a frame at the weekend for my project. Bought a Ford Radiant Red as well... I am planning to sand down to flat finish, do a layer of white primer, then Red then probably a final coat of lacquer.

I hope it turns out as good as yours as my painting skills are not that great...

Wish me luck!

regarding your fuel connectors. Triumph do them. Reasonably priced as I recall. Might have a couple somewhere. In my experience it is the gromit that breaks not the male connector or the female connector (typical)

Well i got another load of bits from Ducati Leeds which i hope will just about get the bike done.

The starter relay was fooked before the crash and sitting for five years hasn't helped. The new one looks just the ticket.

Also got the new quick release fuel fixings from Tom Parker. Had a nightmare getting the "right ones" These will do the trick though.

I decided to treat myself to some frame bungs from ebay. Very happy with these

I also picked up a screen.

I even managed to get some oil and coolant in her and fired her up for a while. So far so good!

Just some odd bits to do and then an mot. Paint will be done over winter. I just want to have a run out before the weather really turns.

Hmm... seat bracket? Seat rubber clip thing? Headlight adjuster screw and spring?

You should have asked - think I have a few of those bits kicking around!
