cool, coz my question was about the 888 tank which is the same as the one in the link? May be worth a punt then at the right price. So no extra outside fuel pump then? Just swap fittings from your monster tank?

if I changed to the Ss it would only be for ergonomics; I wonder if I could use my kness more with a tank that has proper sides rather than the monster ones. I reckon the tanks are pretty much same weight

as the one in the auction link says 888/851/900SS etc

well that would be two different style frames and I can't see it fitting both

Then again it could be for the Spondon Alloy beam Frame that they built that you could fit a Ducati engine in be it a 888, 851 or a 900SS engine
Might have to dig out some old mags as I can't recall if they also did a tubed trellis frame for the Ducati engines

Either way its still a nice tank for the right money

ar yeah good point. Looks can be deceiving....altho right colour too

pics of the bottom look like a fairly open area, what do you reckon?
