The only thing I would say is you 'might' have problems with the airbox and igniter boxes (mine was tight, and it seemed to have a bigger void under the tank - though it is hard to tell).... Although a lot of people have relocated those anyway. The front mount on this one is a little different to mine, but it looks like you might just need a little plate to bolt it to.

I still have a little external pump on mine, not the one in the tank, because the 888 (I think) was fuel injected with a much higher pressure pump.

so cant be vacuum fed then ala monster tank? May still be worth a punt for next year, especially if its a couple of kilos lighetr and goes for the right money, although how heavy is the pump? The SS tank was weighed with inside pump fitted

That one prob could because of where the feed is. The 888 outlet is 1/3 up the tank, so I need it to get the fuel up and out. Mine had an elec pump anyway (weighs no more than 500g), so any saving on the tank is still a saving. Even if I had gone from a steel tank without pump to the 888 tank with pump, it would still be a 2kg saving.
