To be honest I think the only difference between the two types of caliper is that the P4 has a bit better feedback.

Same can probably be said for other calipers that can be fitted to GSXR750s, ZXR750s, RC45s, R7s etc etc, surely its one rule for all, standard bikes with limited modifications applicable to all bikes in the class. Otherwise where does it stop.
Shower Injectors on a 996Bip or a SPS maybe, the 24 degree headstock insert or 998R engines in Supercup or even a 999 engine as nobody will know the difference
