Just returned from a cracking day out at Thruxton (what the hell was Emmett thinking?).

While putting the disc lock on tonight in the garage I noticed that my front Marchesini is well and truly knackered - it has a major dent in it!

On the journey down I had a bit of a moment on a fairly fast right hander. The bike bucked a bit but not too much to concern me.

I am going to drive down there tomorrow night to check it out as I am not 100% whether it was just the cats eye or a pot-hole. The road was the A338 just south of Burbage, a fast right hander after some nice sweepers - anyone know it??

Anyway, if it is a fault with the road do I have a case? Has anyone taken this further and if so, what was the result and how did you go about it?

If it turns out to be just the cats eye - anyone got a front 5 spoke Marchesini for a 748s for sale???
