| A guy on rsvr.net hit a cats eye doing over a grands worth of damage to his wheel/discs etc.....here's what he discovered when he took it up with the highways - QUOTE Claiming against the council for this one. As you can see (if the picture comes out), it appears that the catseye (known as studs) hasn't been put into the road correctly. Got myself some official documentation from the same county council regarding the regs on these things. I qoute: " a depressable stud, shall not project above the surface more than 25 millimetres at its highest point, whether depressed or not." UNQUOTE DJ, I dunno what's strange about the fact that I didn't see the pothole (if there is one - gonna check that later) but that doesn't mean it wasn't there - they are not all huge craters! And besides, whilst making "ahem" progress I've got better things to watch for than little holes in the road.  FELIX: Cheers for that, I will have to try and find some repairers and see whether its do-able. Surely they wouldn't do it if it was dodgy?  Any help on decent wheel repairers would be appreciated guys!  Cheers Jacko.  |
