multimeter on the fuse box. I believe the top fuse should have 12v perm live.

has sidestand switch been checked. if disconnected the plug is located high up on the LH trellis close to the clutch hose.

both pins should be connected for it to work.

I had the same alarm/immobiliser on my 998 and eventually removed the whole system as it became so unreliable. Worst moment was going through the gooseneck at Cadwell and it caused a power drop. Only lasted a second (probably less) but near enough had me going off the track.

Now replaced by a Tracker and no further problems.
