97 bhp limit (whatever a standard 748 is)

standard 4 valve v's tuned 2 valvers

748 v's 1000 DS v's 900 SS v's 1000 Monster vs 900 Monster v's S2R v's 1000 Sports Classics

something for everyone in there .. reckon you'd attract quite a lot with that.

In my humble opinion the problem with the current 1C is cost .. not just the cost of the bike but a the tuning and the additional cost of the tyres .. certainly put me off when I weighed it all up.

plus you've only really got the choice of a 996 or tuned 916 to be really competative

748's and 1000ds can be had for 2 - 3k .. And there are tons of them out there .. Good to go with little more than a race fairing and a twiddle with the, already quality, suspension.

Cost comparable with some of the current class A bikes.

Kev it's the future .. I can see it LOL

My 748 puts out 126rwbhp and 72ft/lb torque . I will be making appearances on it too, now I know the there is a gap in the timetables between DD A/B and C1. Not like when I tried to do two classes last time.... and my thoughts where prompted by a Neil Spalding conversation.

The point of that is that they are sharing a grid with Classic Supercup (RSV1000 Aprillias etc) and Classic Superbike (So could be 996RS etc)
But as with the first year of DD where there was only one class some muppet decided to run a 583 in it to prove you could have a cheaper race class. Same as including the AirCooled bikes in Class 1C, but the evidence shows a complete lack of interest.

To get DD off the Ground we required a minimum of 25 riders to commit to the series, which meant they all had to pay £200 up front to enter and then get a bike sorted.

Based on the Post about alternative DD classes last year just goes to show talk is cheap, hence zero Class 1C bikes entered at Brands

I will be doing some C1 if it's only 95 but only when I'm fit enough. Hopefully by Anglesey I'll be able to cope with 4 races a day again!

I would enter 1c, but too much done to bike so will be classic series. Same grid though
