Well that was well worth the £40. For years I thought nothing was wrong with it, it was only when I rode a DD bike that I relised how bad the 996 was set up. Funny how things seem normal if you do not know.
Anyway the front was rock solid and the rear needed making a little softer. After he finished I went back the way I came and thought I'd taken a wrong turn as I remembered the road there was as bumpy as hell. Damm what a difference, first corner and she was so more reactive and smooth. The front and rear work together now and hard braking is more controlled. Mind you I do get more of a feeling of the rear lifting up on hard braking now.
Was worth it but will be better to get someone now to fine tweek it at a trackday or raceday.
