have a 50/54 mm ecu here and the codes on it are
61600.630.00
996r
ducati007
ducati part code on the box is 96506801b
central 59mscarich d45 996r
cpu 59m exhaust d54 996r

dont know if the OEM 998s/996r 50mm ecu is the same or not as my 998s is not here at the moment

reading above post makes me wonder if i have the correct ecu in the box!

Data I have on misc 998 ECUs (from my own notes) is:

96506801B = stock ECU for 996R/998S

96507502B = ECU for 996R/998S open / race 50mm Termis

96507402B = ECU for open / race 45mm Termis. Note the change of digit from 5 to 4: basically the variable around whether it’s for 45mm [stock] or 50mm [S] cans.

96507602B = Note that variable ‘6’ = ECU for 998R open / race cans

96507702B = hmm, dunno, ECU for 45mm to 50mm system?

I've just had a look at the ECU in the box with my standard endcans, I have not looked at the bike, so I assume this is the stock, non-race ECU, and the markings are as follows -

61600.630.00
996R
DUCATI 007
IAW 59M.A2
IAW 59M.A2/HW010/0115_099
12v 142 01

Correct, that is the stock ECU for 996R/998S, 50mm road cans, part no. as above = 96506801B.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated, I was a little bit concerned I may have had the road chip with the race pipes!!
