Neil you say it was all down to Toni, but Dave would have been well impressed with your engine change at Mallory, no doubt it would have been the sort of think he would have jumped in and lent you a hand. just as he did after the first ever DD race in 2005 helping me sort out my bike after I crashed in race 1 as can be seen in the pic below with Dave in the middle.
