| I have a 999r and obviously have fitted the "race" exhaust supplied. However, it only has small outlets as std, and quite frankly looks stupid with the carbon shroud.
So, ive modified the outlets to the same size as the wsb jobbie!
To do this i cut across the top of the silencer about 3" back from the tail grinding it square so i could replce the part afterwards.
The silencing inside consists of what looks like fibreglass inside plastic bags, i kid u not.
If you were to do this mod im sure you could remove the plastic bags or an amount to make it louder!
Alternatively i would get the proper thing, there is one on ebay at the moment! |
