| A mate of mine has driven the Evo 7 and Evo 8. He liked them, but not as much as he liked the equivalent Subarus. He now has a limited Edition Impreza WR1.
Commonly held belief is that the Evos are better handling, but have a ridiculous service interval (4,500m). The Subaru is a better everyday car with 10,000m service intervals. I'd take both out for a test drive and decide which you like best.
