| Mine broke at an early stage but a repair with a plastic repair kit (sorry forgooten the brand name) lasted for 18 months and lots of miles before selling he bike.
Worked a treat and was completely invisible when the side panel was back on.
Just put the offending brass bit back in place and build up the repair stuff around it to a far greater thickness than the original plastic. |
