Considering that no-one was pulled for speeding and according to Lizzie, "... the bobbies didn't seem in the slighest concerned about our speeds..." - it leads me to the conclusion that the BBC wanted some recent footage of modern bikes and so collaborated with the police in getting some video to use. Unfortunately the general public who would have seen the article will never know that the riders on film were not prosecuted for any speeding offences  | |
