Brighton seafront looking for mods to chase and hiding under the pier from the police-those were the days!!  I used to love screaming my DBD34 Goldstar past the flat out mods in 1st at an indicated 80mph and then changing up 3 gears-silly really-but it used to make me chuckle.  As to music, well rock and roll obviously, but also blues, Rolling Stones, Kinks, and then Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Steppenwolf,, Jucy Lucy, Cream, Joe Cocker, Canned Heat, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Deep Purple-the list goes on and on. First saw the Stones live at Romford Odeon in 1963-they were warm up band for Freddie and the Dreamers-god I really am old! John | |
