I have a set of 65mm ones here you could borrow, but you would have to collect from Oxford this evening as I am currently loading the Van for Thruxton tomorrow.

Roy,

Seen this a bit late but...........

My calipers seized after a winter run and no cleaning..

Free'd them up for the DSC Cadwell track day by using the following method.

Put a zip-tie between the pads and lock it around the caliper body (to hold one side/set of pads in place).

Pump the brake lever thus forcing the free set of pads out. Lube up the pistons with grease or a liquid lube. Using a suitable tool, then push the pistons back in and repeat as necessary. Then do the same with the other side of the caliper and obviously the same with the other caliper unit.

Free'd my up fine.

Hope you get this in time rather than lose your trackday.

GC

Just read this - decided to have a heavy night to console myself and only just woke up

I tried that Guido, but the pistons have come out a bit TOO far and I cant seem to get them back in - the seals may well have gone too!

Keefer, I could do with getting the bike on the road (well I can't exactly torch it near my house JOKE)

Is there any chance I can come and meet ya later if you're not busy?
