Got a new Bike !!

Hi There

..back from me hols to a pile of goodies I bought before i went... and today i got the chance to fit em... new clutch... stage II dynojet kit, K&N highflow filter (complete with airbox chop job to get max flow) - and erm..what else.. oh yeah - that tidy yellow 98ssie monoshock loaned from afar by the very cool Mort

..everything went according to the script too.. except the rain of course, so all i managed was a quick scoot round the (proverbial) block but what a difference even in the wet...

..methinks she liked that wee makeover.. a lot! - now if it would only stop ****in down long enuff for me to have a proper go the story would be complete.. but I'm wearing a smile from here to Glasgow (a long way lol)... dontcha just love these damn things hehehe.

Cheers

Dano

Smart bike! As you say, it deserves a decent ride! See you at the Popham Mega meet then mate, that'll be a mere few hours ride down the west coast for you sonny

Hi again

had it out this evening and it's literally a different bike, much more poke, instant response and pulling cleanly from 2 to 8500 revs where it tails off - stock ones (even ones as old as mine) aint exactly slow but the stage 2 kit and open airbox just give it a whole new aspect ...would recommend this mod to any 91-97 stock ss owners, all you need is a good pair of aftermarket cans and make sure your bike is running well and in balance etc before you do it.. couldnt be more straightforward !!

..clutch is brilliant, handlings wonderful, induction noise is an absolute hoot lol, and generally, why they didnt put em out like this is beyond me ..but that's not difficult lol

..can you tell I'm pleased ?

Cheers

Dano
