That's a good call. I'm forever having to loosen my grip on the bars as it has a tendency to tighten unconsciously. I was also sitting very slightly further back for some reason - I'd done about 80 miles by then, so I was probably trying to ease some kink or other.
The rear pre-load is way higher than the factory pre-set, if it goes any higher I'll need a step ladder to get on board!
Let me know about your Francis Williamson meet - I'd love to get some expert advice for my 999 setup! It would also be a good opportunity to meet up with you and have a chat.
