Absolutely. DD should be made compulsary for all new racers.

I wonder how many seasoned racers look back at there first club with the same warmth that DD creates?

I do,
which is one of the reasons I got involved, so others could experience the same sort of thing

back then the biggest bike you could start on as a novice was a 600 which were mainly around 90 rwbhp and with Airfields as our main race venues with hardly any facilities we soon learnt to make new friendships
