On the igniters you have two connectors, one is a 3 pin and the other a 2 pin

The wires to the 3 pin are two inputs which are +12V and Ground/Earth and the pin is the connection to the HT coil.

So what you have is the feed for the electronic circuit that controls the Electronic switch that controls the coil ON/OFF

The other 2 pin connector delivers the pulse from the pickup that triggers the electronic switch
