Anyone got a parts CD?

I just wondered if anyone had a copy of the Ducati parts CD for the SS? The one that breaks the bike down into components and then there parent and child parts? If so, would there be any chance of a copy (I'd gladly pay postage and the cost of the CD )
This only came up as the single superlight seat unit I've got fitted appears to be rubbing on the back light and I wondered if the SL had different rubber supports on the top of the frame rails?........If you know what I mean!
That and I think it'd be useful in the future!

If you've got a '91-97 shape SS then you can download a PDF of the microfiche from http://www.bluepointdesign.com/ducati/ otherwise as Rob says it's www.ducati.com for the later one.

Sadly, the Duke website does not have the files for an early SS (Pre-95 I think). Thank goodness for the Bluepoint website - its class, but you really do need broadband for the downloads

Likewise the CD's I've seen on Ebay are to be avoided as I'm told they are all downloads from the Ducati website with some extra piccies thrown in.

Failing that I'm sure on of the SL lads can advise / take a piccy for you.

good luck - Frank

Trust Frank to be Captain Sensible.....

Here's a picture of the bottom of my SL seat base. There are no extra mountings on the frame.

Bare in mind though that even on genuine Superlights the base will rub on the rear light lens if you don't get the position just right when you do the screws up. Some carefull bending of the brackets generally puts a stop to it.

Ahhh, yes........I think I've got the front two mounting rubbers & brackets missing...........830.1.126.1A & 866.1.011.1A from the blue point web site!
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction fellas (and for the picture Darren).......now there wouldn't happen to be anyone on the site who would have some spare brackets and rubbers by any chance (he says hopefully!)..........

The front brackets (ones on the left in my picture) are listed at £11.12 for the bracket and £3.78 for the rubber pad (Same as the ones under the fuel tank apparently). Prices plus VAT as you'd expect...

You can download a pricelist from www.spareshack.com to turn yourself into a complete anorak if you want more prices.
