| In a way, these little tricks like trying to outrun a traffic cop, flip-mounted Reg plates and (in some cases) using false plates, they are all like speeding itself - all very well, as long as you don't get caught doing it. The consequences of being caught speeding can pale into near insignificance compared to what happens if you get caught trying something tricky. Better by far to work on your techniques for not being spotted speeding, rather than evading the consequences of such. All within the context of safe riding, of course. How the hell did I end up standing on this here soap box?   |
