Martin

I have the same problem.

Mine is starting to have some major problems, but i have been told that they no longer make them and the replacement is some crappy thing (not Nokia)

Usually I just ring and get a new one delivered the next morning, but now I will have to wait for the engineer to fit a new car kit (assuming they do one for this new phone) and then learn how to use to non Nokia pants phone!

I even considered getting myself a new different Nokia and using the Sim, but they cannot just replace the craddle in the car kit, it has to be the whole thing and if i do it off my own back i have to pay and I am too tight for that.

If you do find a supplier would be interested in details as well.

Martin, (and Lil) if its not too late

outside chance here but a mate of mine has just upgraded all of his company's phones from 6310's to some new fangled gadget stuff.

I've already put my name on a few of his old phones for the very same reason you've just outlined.

I know he wants to keep a couple but i'll ask him if there's any decent ones going begging. No promises but i'll have a word.

Lil, just engaged brain now, have a word with Ali, as it's his best man Julian.

p.s. if anyone is thinking of getting blue tooth set up with car don't bother, i think it's the most overated pile of expensive *****e fitted as a factory option. Mines been back so many times i'm getting an old fashioned hard wired kit put into the car. The blue tooth on mine is as much use as a one legged man at an ar$e kicking contest. Rant over

Uncle Porry,

formyour experience have i just been unlucky with my bluetooth set up, or is it really a pile of over rated poo.

Everyone ells me that my old hard wired kit was streets ahead of what i've got now, most of the time people can't hear me and or i can't hear them so i take it of hands free which despite being illegal defeats the whole object.

cheers for any advice

shaun,

er what did you say, sorry can you repeat that!
