| Quite a surprise reading this thread: I was expecting all Katie Melua and Phil Collins!  I watched some of the Mercury Prize on TV the other week. Thing is with the current crop of UK bands, they're such nice polite boys, with their pretty melodies; the sort I'd be happy if my daughter brought one home (if I had a daughter). Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, Keane... I liked Amy Winehouse. And the last CD I bought? The Revolution Will Not Be Televised - Gil Scott-Heron. [Edited on 20-9-2004 by moto748] | |
