Now in IT as network manager looking after a large construction company with around 550 users, supporting around 40 servers in a 2003 env (after migrating 2 NT4 domains) and exchange 2003. also setup and deal with all the switching and routing over the sites using leasedlines or VPN's. have little to do with end users which is nice.

Freelance Geek,

used to specialize in NetWare and NT. These days working exclusively with Cisco Routers and Switches.

The current client company has many thousands of routers, so lots to play with.

General Manager responsible for strategic direction for an outsourcing company that specialises in document management. Probably means nothing to you and believe me it doesnt mean much to me either!
Basically I work long hours, constantly travel and try to avoid becoming another corporate casualty as my american employers do their best to cut costs again and again. Still pays the bills and keeps me the owner of a lurvly 1000SS which Ive just had race cans fitted on (Two Brothers Racing - Fantastic!)
