Ali are has been posting about suspension on his Superlight and considering the shock from a SSie

And as Nelly says you need a tool to hold the alternator otherwise forget trying to do it yourself.

Thanks Guys,

I've rigged up an additional HD live lead so that I can start the bike using a jump starter battery.

Once running everything is fine - its just the initial 'cold' start of the day that causes problems. I think the combination of high comp pistons and worn sprag clutch are working against me

Busy changing forks etc on my track bike at the moment so the poor old girl is hardly used at the moment...
