With the Dunlop Qualifiers no longer in production and the debate on wet / dry conditions, there must another solution. Possibly Dunlop KR364's or similar? I raced all my 400 years on these. They are mega in all conditions and are long lasting. Available in DD sizes. The issue is potentially cost as they are £240 a set retail but potentially Dunlop would do a deal to carry on supporting the series??

Tim, Dunlop have a replacement tyre coming that is not to different to what we have at the moment, same sizes, same compound, H-rated Carcass with the latest technology/thinking incorporated and a new tread pattern based on the SportSmart2
Oh Yea and about the same price

Prob same as when we changed from the Pirellis, you can use them for the first 3 rounds the next season then change.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight that matters, but the size of the fight in the dog.

Something like that would only apply if DD stays with Dunlops and then only if the similar tyre was adopted after all a more road based tyre more suitable for wet conditions might be the way DD is headed

in all seriousness though, with the summer we have had this year it probably is the sensible choice.
