Mate, the R comes with a termi decatted front pipe and 102db silencer. The std system is asymetrical, ie the rear pipe is short, small bore, the front is long, large bore.
The real way to go is a full 57mm system and power commander, something you could also run a quick shifter off of. However i thought about this, and if you want i can put you in touch with a full ti 57mm corse system for around £1800, or a 54 mm system for around £1200, but declined as 1) i cant use the power its allready got, and 2) most t/ds are now regulated by noise.
A Pc does smooth out the 7000rpm fuelling flat spot though.
With fairings its all about fitting them and that takes time and effort, i think the £150 ones will be poor, but if thats what you want so be it. ( i dont think so)
As for rear sets i bought from America...superb quality and even with the carriage and tax are good value!
As for availability of spares, i would ask, what was available for the 916/996 to years into the 90s? % Thats unfortunate, but how it is!
