I've had a 30gig 3G one for a while now. I love certain aspects of it but it's not perfect. Being a UK one it has a volume limit on it (unlike non EU ones) which simply isn't loud enough. Battery life leaves a lot to be desired too.

iTunes is infinitely better than MusicMatch or any other software for using with your player. I've used most of them now for greater or lesser periods of time and none compare for simplicity or features. It'll take a little while to get used to and it helps if you're prepared to sit down and rate as many of your songs as possible but eventually you get there.

Had an iTrip too for about a week. It may work well in the back end of nowhere but once you get near any major city the radio waves tend to be completely clogged meaning you get blown away by commercial and pirate stations all the time. On the bright side I managed to flog it on eBay for roughly what I paid for it.
