After missing umpteen ride-outs I was really looking forward to this and seeing folks face-to-face for the first time in a couple of months...but now?
I've got a greater than 85% chance that I'll have to go to Germany on Thursday/Friday to do some early preparation for a visit I'm making to Stuttgart next week...why oh why oh why they can't just leave it all to next week god alone knows!
The worst of it is I won't know for definite whether it's Thursday...Friday or what until last minute.
So, even in the unlikely event that I wriggle out of this crap I won't be able to make any plans for Friday until...probably Friday. If I'm lucky I may just get out of it in time to get to the 12 noon rendezvous....but I'm not banking on it. If I'm there, I'm there. If not...I'll probably be fuming in a Stuggart meeting room, green with envy at the good day out all my cronies are having. |
