There was a special police cyber unit set up to investigate these "Nigeria Scams".

I am sure it was being headed up by NCIS (National Criminal Intelligence Service). If not a call to your local police headquarters may put you on the right track. Maybe some of the peeps who work in the Force can confirm if this is true or not?

I heard it was becoming such a huge problem that they were being forced to TRY and do something about it.......it was highlighted by the emails doing the rounds about x amount of millions and we need to get it out the country type crap trying to get your bank details by deception.

If the task force does exist make sure you forward the details on to them, but to be honest the chances of catching the scum through his IP address are limited, it is probably a garden shed in deepest darkest Yank land.
