Thanks guys, now watching WSB on Eurosport to keep my sanity. It`s not the pain,at the moment there`s very little,it`s the worry of sudden movements that renders the left arm useless for a few hours, then the pain starts.Hopefully I`ll have some better news after I`ve seen the scan/xray results and had some treatment tomorrow.
Sparkin, Sorry to hear your'e having a spot of bodily malfuntions but having rode that last ride out im surprised more of us did'nt render to some serious neck problems, by the time I got home my neck was so tight with the posible weight of the helmet I did wonder whether we should on longer journeys pull over more and have breaks to stop neck fatigue happening I wonder if it is the bike that has brought your trouble on . Im supprised you are the only one to report this or are there others out there that do suffer silently with out realising it. I truly hope you can get over this with exercise and mobility and find its only short term . Regards 4D
Sorry you're suffering like this Graham - what seems obvious to me - and yet no-one's mentioned it, it's old age mate - join the club
Seriously, Ibuprofin, Paracetamol and Redbull - the panacea cocktail for bikers - unfortunately, my blood pressure has become dangerously high on this particular formula so I may not be the best person to give advice ...
on the other hand the blood pressure problem might be work related stress, but as I'm now working my notice that should correct itself, right ?

Old age, whats that then, you're not old until you get to at least 65 well that's the theory, but I must admit a do feel a bit worse for wares sometimes..

When we were at Nagaro last year there was a guy with no left arm ,had a kind ok quick shifter that operated the clutch when he moved the gearchange lever,i can find out more details if you like. Butch
P.s all we need then is someone to cut of your arm-Sorted!!
Sorry to hear that Sparkin me old mate. Mrs Jools had a trapped nerve in her neck which gave her the same sort of symptoms. She got it sorted with physio and a bit of acupuncture, it still took about 3 months but it was curable.
Don't even think about getting an RX8 instead of a bike, if the riding position of the T8 turns out to be a real problem get another Multistrada.
I agree with Fordie though, sometimes I get really sore shoulders and neck even on my sit up and beg ST. I put it down to not being relaxed enough on the bike cos sometimes I can go all day without a problem, other times I've got a stiff neck within 10 or 15 miles (maybe I didn't swallow the viagra properly on those days). The other thing that causes me grief is being a speccy git, I find I have to lift my head higher than I would otherwise need just to look through my specs and not over the top.
