After my off at the Rock I need to replace my throttle assembly and was going to look at getting one of the quick turn throttles. Only things is, which one do I get for a '99 996?

Thing is mate, a 996 etc is allready 67 degrees to open fully, so PDQ!

The reason i did my 999 was its 94 degrees to open.

I dont know quite if you would gain anything?

Oopps, cheers Ant. Got carried away with what I was looking at

Cheers for the info Andy. I still need a new throttle assembly anyway so will still probably get one even if it isn't that much quicker.

They're bloody cheap too - cheaper than second hand I would have thought.

Hmm, i tried them and it was going to be 5-6 weeks for the bits! 57 degrees on from 64-67.

Mind you 35 euros +, compared to around £45 for a std bit. ( plus the domino badge looks good!)

35 euros!

That is cheap! Unusual as most of the stuff on that website I've looked at has been pretty pricey.

I take it it wouldn't include the "fast-idle" button feature, though?

I've got one you can have for twenty quid if you want.
It has an ali housing and comes with a universal throttle cable, I think it's a quarter turn one.
