James Bond to ride a Ducati?
This is pure speculation on my part, but I've done a bit of "join the dots" with the story that MGM have accepted the buy-out off from Sony.

MGM owns the rights to James Bond, and Sony will obtain this as part of the deal.

The Sony deal is back by none other than Texas Pacific - the American investment firm behind Ducati.

Given that Ducati are currently breaking into the American market in a big way - SBK, AMA, films (Matrix, Austin Powers, Catwoman, etc) - placing a Ducati in a Bond film would be an excellent opportunity for them.

In the last film the car supplier switched from BMW to Aston Martin (Ford) which means that there is no longer any rival product to Ducati as there would have been if vehicles were still supplied by BMW.

So will we see Bond or maybe a villian on a Ducati next time out?
