cabon key protector
this might sound a bit daft but i have just bought one of those carbon key tank protectors i thought it might just stick straight on like the [ belly ] guard but it wont as the ignition switch is in the way ... please can anyone advise as to fitment ..remove switch or tank whats the easyest way in thanks

Unbolting the tank is probably the easiest, it only needs to move slightly to fit the guard. You may find the ignition barrel scrapes against it; I put a piece of stick-on carbon to protect it.

Be carefull mate once you start with the carbon it becomes addictive
and expensive
