Floating Disks
Can the discs on the 998 be modified to become full floaters?

Yep. I've done mine. You can get the bobbins from several sources, including Brembo You use the bobbins, shims and clips from the fully floating discs spares list!!
I think I have one set of black ones left at £75. The Brembos are about the same money for a set to.
The worst bit is getting the old fixed ones out!! It's real tough taking an angle grinder to your Brembos ya know

Nelly
Can this be done one bobin at a time so that the disc does not need to removed from the bike?

Bob, got a set of cast fully floaters surplus to requirments as I've fitted RS discs that run a wider offset. U2U me an offer if you're interested.
