there is another Alloy one in Germany as well with std shock, plastic chain runner and sprocket cover going for about £5 so far.....

What is it with Germany??? They have all the good stuff !!!!!!!!!!!

LOL - plenty to go around my friend....

The shock does only look like an original thats been rebuilt and a bit aged at that.

My thoughts. No point in running out and buying a knackered old showa with a spring that's almost certain not to be suitable for you.

The problem I've found with my Hyperpro spring is it's designed for someone considerably lighter than my 14ish ( not a bleedin' word Ali...) stone.
