Dial/Span Adjusters.
Hello,

I need to delve into your wealth of knowledge.

My Multistrada (2003 model) is missing a dial/span adjuster on the clutch lever (4 position type) and I'm considering replacing both clutch and front brake adjusters with a pair of anodised ones.

I have approached M & P, Busters, Mr Fast'ner and Pro-Bolt.
M & P couldn't confirm whether their dial/span adjusters fit, Busters only have replacement levers and a spokeswoman for Pro-Bolt said "Although the 4 position type adjusters look the same from the top, underneath they are different and will not fit the Multistrada".

Does anyone have suggestions or ideas, for example: Do the dial/span adjusters from a Monster 1,000 fit ?

Your help and advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If it was me I would get the spare parts catalogue from the Ducati website here:
http://www.ducati.com/bikes/catalogs.jhtml

Check the part number for either the span adjuster or the full lever (which I think includes the span adjuster).

Then download the same spare parts catalogues for the Monster / Superbike / whatever as necessary, and check the part numbers for those as well - you may find that they match.

If they do match, you'll know that a part from M&P / Pro-Bolt or whoever that will fit the other model will also fit yours.

I've done this loads of times when hunting for parts for my 600 which look the same as later stuff, but you just need to check.

Hope this helps!

Yeah, dunno if they sell them seperate or if you can only buy them as part of the lever - the spares catalogue will tell you anyway.

Unfortunately it appears that the dial/span adjusters are only sold as part of the "Clutch control lever" - Part # 626.4.034.1A

However thanks for the useful info.
