Snetterton Race
Is the race at Snetterton set in stone as a 30 min race?

What do other riders think?

Would it be better to run TWO 10 lap races? (about 15 mins each)

Just incase the less stable of us (Me & Chris) don't make it past the first 10 laps of a 30 min stint

30 mins will do me, never done a race of that length before so it would be nice to see how I feel towards the end providing I stay on the bike.

It just seems like an awful long way to go to get taken out or crash on the first lap... a bit like Cadwell really

It's a 550 mile round trip for me

Plus, I'm bound to need a cigarette about half way through

Good job your not doing the endurance race then, they have to go for quite a while without a fag break and the first rider could easily trash the bike before the other two get a chance to race it.
As you well know, thats racing.

Domski, yes it it set in stone mate-it's a 'Time Trial' so was deliberately set at a 30 minute duration. Basically don't fall off-and you should be giving up smoking-you're an athlete you know............

You’ll be all right at snett you can have a fag on the revit strait.
The race length (if you stay on) shouldn’t be a problem because you get a nice rest on the start finish to
But the bikes will be struggling. well the 583s with no oil cooler mite Ant,s bike was coming back in and it was roasting like a turkey in the garage.

Wasn't it Sheene that drilled a hole through his helmet so he could have a fag on the start line?
