Tecmoto
Just booked my 748 in for its annual service and found out that Wayne and Mike have sold Tecmoto - old news, I know, I've been away!

I spoke to Chris and he seemed genuine, and I know he used to do their paintwork in the past. But I just wondered how people have found them since the change. I always found Wayne and Mike incredibly helpful, friendly and honest and I had every confidence in leaving my bike with them - price and quality. Is this still the case?

Cheers in advance...

not had any work done yet, but chris seems committed to providing a good service, i did have some paintwork done and the standard was excellent.

i certainly will give them a try in the future

My DesmoDue engine was overhauled, big-bored and setup by Mitch the Mechanic who is a very genuine guy and has his history in prepping Ducati race engines. They've done a top job and have been extremely helpful. My 748 was serviced at the "old" TecMoto but I'll have no problems with taking it back there to let Mitch service it now.

Chris also races old-timer Ducatis and it's his business (ie, his money at stake), so customer service to get the word of mouth recommendation and a good name is important to him. Chris knows the reputation that TecMoto had for customer service in the past under Mike and Wayne (as you say he was their paint man) and he's working hard to keep it that way.

I'd certainly recommend them.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm very reassured. Time to get the bike sorted and get out riding again....

Kids are great but they don't mix with bikes!
