Edit: Clint was a DNS as he trashed his bike in a lowside in qualifying, I believe.

The race was stopped after about 17 mins due to an off (more details when appropriate) and restarted after the track was cleared, with the grid on positions as at the stoppage.

Time was then calculated in aggregate over the two races.

There was some questions about the timings, hence the amendments (but only to two results) and the reissue of the results.

nah Jen - Weeksy did the trackday, but not the racing.

There were so many private battles going on up & down the grid - it made for riveting watching on every bend and straight.

We had a good time, AK enjoyed his 2 sessions on the trackday, with Andy having the other 3 sessions.

Mrs Snott has told us that she needs to have a rest now, plus some rather major surgery (as some of you will have seen from the smoke that was increasingly billowing from her during the day )
She did at least hold together for most of the race, even if the last 3 laps were rather hard for Andy to cope with, having to 'help' her round & then having the ignominy of completely conking out after turn 2 - just after the chequered flag had been shown
We think Mrs Snott didnt benefit from the stop in the middle of the race - she wanted to have a kip then, and was having to be walloped to stay awake after that

Looks like AK's got lots of spannering to do in the next few weeks...

anyone gotta spare engine....?

At least our trip home last night was miles better than the outward trip = 2 hours & 20 mins to get home - compared with 3 & three quarter hrs to get there on Fri afternoon.
and there was still a jam by Heathrow section of M25 last night at 10pm!!!

right off to unload van now....... yawn..
