Smile Musicians ?????
Totally different subject , Do we have any musicians amongst the very varied characters in the the DD paddock ?

Iv been in various bands for years as front man vocals and would love to get one together to perform at our race meetings,

It has to be said the disco at Oulton and the offerings at Anglesey dont hit the spot.

Just putting it out there, We already have a reputation with the normal people in the Hottrax paddock for being slightly bonkers

Your thoughts please

Batesy

I play keys and bass and it would be great to have a jam at the paddock.
The only problem is to carry amps on the already crammed vans.
If you sing, send a list of your repertoire, we could rehearse acoustically at meetings.

Fantastic idea, which would be great to see/hear.

Unfortunately as above, I'm only any good at playing the tw*t.

Why not come and have a go at the Clubs Trackday?
We can sort you with a garage to perform in - maybe get Brands to put you on the terrace or something!

Thanks guys for the encouraging responses,
I spoke to Oulton management earlier this year about gigging our meeting but they said no budget,The band i was in at the time didnt fancy doing a freebie (not bikers , three of em were cops actually ,The boring kind not like Roxy xx)

Anyway, I have 2k P A which will fit in my van and caravan so only backline and drums needed,

We have keys and bass (not at the same time-I counted your arms lol)
Come on you guitarists/drummers lets make it happen !!

Brilliant idea, would be great if we could sell tickets to the non-DDers.

I can only play with my own instrument but I'm very good at it!
