Head light bulb

I want to replace the bulb in my head light for one of the new style Zenon gas bulbs. Had one on my previous bike and it made a big difference in light output. Halfords have some on special offer (2 for 1), does anyone out there know what the correct fitment is? eg H2, H4 H7 etc.

Oh nearly forgot its a '99 SSie

Check the manual, or just take the current one out!

Manual just said 12v 55/60 watt.

Stuck at work at the moment and bike is tucked up in the garage at home.

Had a look in the online owners manual - the diagram appears to depict a H4 bulb although it doesn't actually confirm that in writing.
Seem to recall that's what was on mine but that's over 5 years ago....
