Cadwell yesterday 16/3 ACU DAY
Hmm where to start.. It was ferkin freezing, Both Kye and i went out just after lunch for a few laps and that was all there was to it, We both suffered carb icing like you wouldnt belive, I had to stop at the bottom of the mountain and wait for it to thaw before the bike would start again to get me back to pit lane. HMM pit lane and thats where she stayed for the rest of the day, kye on the otherhand had a good few laps to aquaint himself with the circuit layout before frostbike finnaly got the better of him too.
So that is out preseason testing done....and it was so roll on the real stuff........

Great to meet Grib and couchie there too although to our dissapointment lucy wasnt wearing her french maids outfit..... Calm down tonio...

Maybe New Era will provide hot drinks there at the race meeting if all you 583s are going to suffer carb icing?

I honestly cant see the weather being worse than it was yesterday. It was a perfect day for carb icing to be honest, Just above zero and very moist:P.
And Kinell do them hail stones hurt or what....

Carb Icing - got heaters on Max so don't have that problem. Only once and it wasn't above freezing that time.
Dessie on the other hand hasn't and my lads just gone out for a spin and I could hear it coughing all the way up the road

Thankfully Silverstone last weekend didn't cause any carb icing problems for either myself, Senna3 or Chris Woods. Well not that I know of anyway.
Senna has carb heating circuit fitted where as Chris and I haven't. Not sure what the air temp was on the day but during the briefing it was snowing.
I might just find time this coming week to sort some carb heating for mine in case its something to do with that northern air
