rear hub retaining circlip
ok
so changing the sprocket and carrier
got the circlip off, just
but cant get it back on!
my circlip pliers are not big enough!
anyone able to tell me the size / type needed or else a dark arts secret that will et the clip back on wothout the need of a trip to buy tools???

Replace the rear sprocket flange for the 998 version with the spacer instead - it's only a matter of time until it wears and starts eating into your hub!

ok but lost me there
do you mean replace the circlip and washer or the whole hub? any idea of part numbers?

i have a 2001 748s and am fitting a renthal carrier to a standard hub
